About the Gorse Bush

The Old Village Hall was erected during WWI by the military, and originally served as a shooting range. Donated to the people of Kinlochewe after the war, it served for decades as the village hall and was the social hub of the village. Much of the original construction remains in place to this day, including the hardwood floors.

The Gorse Bush today is a relaxed, independent restaurant serving the best of the superb produce of Wester Ross. We love to showcase the local fish and seafood, game and fruit and vegetables grown by small-scale producers in the immediate area.
