NOW CLOSED UNTIL SPRING 2021. THANKS TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS IN 2020! WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AGAIN NEXT YEAR
Thanks to Covid-19, we have had to rethink our offering for this year. Distancing and other restrictions mean that for the time being, we aren't able to open as a restaurant, and we have taken the decision to remain take-away only, until there is no doubt that it's safe to open for sit-in meals. Meanwhile, we'll be offering a selection of cooked food to heat up at home, delivered to your door free of charge: ready-to-bake pies (vegan and G-F options available); freshly baked bread; soup, sides and desserts, alongside some snacks like freshly-baked home made pork pies and sausage rolls. We also offer a range of Indian and South Asian curries delivered to your door (Sundays only), and a range of home-made ice creams made, as always, by hand, using the best Scottish ingredients.

Our Range
We will be serving hearty pies ready to bake, made with our flaky suet crust; a range of fresh ice creams; fresh baked bread, and other baked goods. We have options for vegetarians, vegans and a number of allergen-friendly options. A full ‘menu’ or product list can be seen on our website, and on our Facebook page. We do not make large batches to freeze or store for later sale! Everything is made fresh, to order, from scratch, as it would be for any restaurant meal. Almost everything we sell is freezable at home (and everything is clearly labelled with the date of production, best-before date, reheating instructions, and allergen information).

Health & Hygiene
Our staff will be working under conditions of rigorous hygiene, wearing gloves and masks and maintaining a safe distance to protect our customers - and each other. We’ve altered the layout of our kitchen and reworked all our due diligence documentation to ensure maximum protection, accountability and traceability of everything that comes in or out of the premises. Staff temperatures are taken on arrival and recorded. Every item sold carries a date of production and the initials of the person who prepared it. In the worst instance, we can track every step of the chain of supply and production of every part of every dish.
For the safety of our customers, our staff and the local community, we will not be opening our premises to the public until we are able to feel sure that it is safe to do so. |
Orders & Deliveries
There is no need to come in person to the premises: you can phone us or order by email; and we will be making home deliveries to the areas listed below.
Delivery to your door is free for orders over £20 and for smaller orders there is a £2 delivery charge. Payments will be taken by BACS transfer. We will not, as a rule, be accepting cash payment (exceptions may be made in some situations). Please make BACS payments to sort code 08-71-99 and account number 00684082. If your home isn’t included in the list below, it doesn’t mean we won’t come to you! Call or email and let us know, and we will do our absolute best to reach you. Single deliveries to very out of the way areas may incur a delivery charge – but we’ll do our best to avoid this. If you can get a couple of friends or neighbours to order with you, it will help us cut out any extra delivery charges.
